Doom 3 (DOOM III) is third science based horror and first person shooting video game made by id software and released by Activision. Doom 3 was published in August 2004 and its the 3rd game in the whole series. It was published for top 6 gaming platforms including Microsoft Windows (PC), Linux, Macintosh OS X, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Xbox as well. The story of this game is similar to previous games of doom series but there are several updates and upgrades were added in this version by the developer. Doom is most popular game series which has hundreds of thousands loving players from worldwide.
The new Doom Beta is now released under the name of Wolfenstein The New Order which includes mostly gameplay similar to doom series. According to Wikipedia, The publisher has sold more than 3.5 million copies of this game that is the record for the developer. Although the game earns good ratings and reputation than its competitors but some critical reviews are also the part of this game. The previous games of this series like Doom 1993, Doom II Hell on Earth, Doom 64 doesnt provide high definition graphics and best graphics presentation to the user players. Many gameplay features are similar to God of War, Men of War, Dark Souls II, Left 4 Dead, Resident Evil 5 and so on.
The gameplay is similar to other games with single and multiplayer features. The single player gameplay is separate than the multiplayer gameplay. The game consists on several levels with different difficulty levels with variety of enemy and devil forces. There are several characters with individual features, powers and other abilities as well. The player can use up to 10 weapons to survive against the enemies but the enemies also rich with different abilities. The weaponry system includes submachine guns, explosive material, shotgun, grenades and many others as well.
The developer adds several horror based objects in the gameplay which will creates a fear in the heart of player. Some levels are less difficult but most of them are highly moderated and difficult especially for beginners. Some of levels fear the player with horror voices (brute voices). The enemy attacking system is improved than previous games of doom series. Doom 3 is most rated horror game which earns high reputation among the gaming communities.
