Street fighter x tekken is combat and fighting based video game developed and published by Capcom. Street fighter x tekken is 3rd game in street fighter cross over series. The standard series of street fighter has IV official versions with multiple editions in every single version. Street fighter II champion edition is one of the best and popular editions in the series of street fighter games. However, street fighter x tekken was firstly released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as well. But at the letter time, it was official announced for Macintosh and Microsoft Windows (PC) platforms.
Street fighter X tekken is combination of 2 different fighting, combat and arcade games. It includes different players from tekken series and also from street fighter game series. The multiplayer feature allows the player to start tag team match with selecting 2 players from the characters list. This tag team match requires eliminating 1 player from the opponent team. Single story mode is one of the most popular gameplay modes that allow the player to test the best powers, combos and fighting skills against the opponent players.
This game was developed and released with the partnership of Namco and Capcom who are the popular gaming developers especially for Japan. The gameplay is similar to other combat and fighting games like Tekken 3, tekken tag tournament 2, mortal kombat, tekken 4, WWE smackdown vs RAW, , tekken 5 and others. Every fight consists of 3 rounds and the player shall win 2 from 3 rounds. The opponent computer players are highly skilled and create high difficulty for user player specially the ending players. So, the player will use different skills, powers, combos and techniques to block the hits of opponent player and take the right hit at the right time. The player control system is similar to tekken 4 game but here the player shall eliminate every opponent player till the end of game. The terms and conditions for the success and elimination is similar to tekken tag tournament game.
